Ever since the Somali people in Ogaden came under the occupation of late Abbisinya and now “Ethiopia”, the people are subjected to daily dose of inhuman treatment, detention, isolation, murder and looting. Ogaden remained underprivileged and forgotten land by all seccesive repressive regimes in Addis Ababa. The Somali people`s freedom, dignity, development and right to pursue their dreams are deprived on the name of “Ethiopia’s” Integrity. Knowing and being the victim of hell on the earth, the patriotic Somali people in Ogaden never gave up their dream to live in peace, freedom, and free Ogaden without fear and persecution. That is exactly why ONLF is leading the struggle, of our generation, against Woyane aggression.  The news that is emerging from our country this week are news that filled every freedom loving Somali with glee and delight while the hearts and minds of Woyane and their cronies are flooded with fear and despair. This is a day where Ogaden national liberation front fighters proved to the criminals and bandits that are deployed in Ogaden to kill, harass and detain the civilian population will not go unpunished.

The gloom and doom that awaits the hated and removed bad guys, Canjeex and Mahad, in their graves are extreme and intense. They left to hell to be further punished by almighty-Allah. They are no longer a problem to our people`s march toward freedom and dignity-thanks to our brave men and women who took action when needed most.

The removal of the notorious flunkies of the Woyane regime is a great victory for the oppressed Ogaden people in particular and all peoples in region in general.  Bewildered by the way the freedom fighter of ONLF removed the cronies of woyane, the atmosphere of Abdi Ilay`s  office was filled with fear, hopelessness and emptiness. The ogaden national liberation front has once more lifted a great burden from the Somali people whom, in daily basis, being detained, tortured, and killed. Some of the criminals and bandits that operate in Ogaden are the so called “Liyu police”- special police. Unfortunately, these bandits are recruited from the Somali population, by the local representatives of the Woyane regime in Addis Ababa. Recruiting and Arming these local youngsters from the local Somali population, having blessing from Addis Ababa, they commit serious  human rights violations in Ogaden along side with Ethiopian defense forces.

Using the civilian population as shield is not new for the Woyane armed forces. Sending Farmers, Teachers, merchants and health personal to fight against ONLF forces is well known Woyane tactic. Those who refuse to do so are arrested and their salary, if any, suspended. These civilians are forced to bring their mere financial resources and private rifle, if any, with them and then dispatched to battle fields to face the mighty of well trained and equipped ONLF fighters. The woyane army knows well, as many times happened that they will be run over easily. However knowing these civilian militias are not fitted to the job, the army commanders force the civilian population to fight ONLF ever since the Ogaden national liberation front took arms against the injustice and oppression against the Somali Ogaden people.
Call it Tadaqi or Liyu Police, it is the same game and same approach. The slight difference is that now the head of the cronies is Ilay - a notorious terrorist who did break any records of human right violations. For him, torturing and killing of the civilian population is a daily ritual. He spent most of the regions budget by building and arming his own militia instead of building schools, health clinics, and other infrastructure for the region’s population. What is the purpose of organizing this so called “Liyu police” militia when we know the Woyane regime has hundreds of thousands of own non-somali soldiers?. These militias are created by the woyane and their cronies for several purposes. Without deepening to all of them I would like to mention two: the most important purpose is to use this Somali-militia as buffer between the ONLF and the Woyane forces, so to reduce the loss of the army. These militias are frequently sent to front lines where they usually never win a single battle against the battle hardened ONLF fighters.

The second purpose of the creation of local militias is: to divide the Somali people to different opposing fractions and trigger a civil war among the Somalis in Ogaden, though this purpose never materialized for the regime in Addis Ababa.

So what: Liyu Police are on the run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
