0930 gmt 25 Sep 81 & 0930 gmt 26 Sep 81

On 16th and 19th Sepetmber Abyssinian forces launched

a massive attack at (?Shimiley). The attack was . . .

repulsed by the WSLF freedom fighters who killed many

enemy soldiers and wounded others; the enemy also lost

large quantities of arms and ammunition. . . The

freedom fighters lost one martyr and six were wounded.

(0930 gmt 25 Sep 81) . . . WSLF freedom fighters

launched a surprise attack on the Abyssinian black

colonialist soldiers based in Auareh town on 22nd/23rd

September killing 20 of Mengistu's dispirited soldiers

and destroying three vehicles.
