''Voice of Western Somali and Somali Abo Liberation Fronts''

 

 In a clash in the town of Dagamedo, in (?Nogob) district, on 3rd January, WSLF forces killed eight Abyssinian soldiers and wounded many others. In a fierce clash on 1st January at (?Warta Nil), in Sidamo region, SALF freedom fighters killed 43 enemy soldiers and wounded many others as well as destroying one lorry and capturing 22 AK rifles. The freedom fighters lost three martyrs and 20 others were wounded. (0930 gmt 12 Jan 81) . . . WSLF forces attacked Abyssinian soldiers on 4th January at Imi town, 31 Abyssinian soldiers were killed and many others wounded. The Abyssinians' military equipment suffered great damage. As is usual when the Abyssinian black colonialist troops fail to withstand the attacks by the liberation forces, they attacked instead the local people and killed 21.
