Heroic WSLF freedom fighters were engaged in a fierce clash with the Abyssinian black colonialist soldiers

at (?Garasle) in ElCarre area on 6th March . . . killing 20 enemy soldiers and wounding many others as

well as capturing nine AK rifles. . . The freedom fighters lost one martyr and had six others wounded.

Somali Abo freedom fighters, in an attack . . . at Dada village in Yirga-Alem area of Sidamo region on 7th March, killed

50 enemy soldiers . . . [wounded others] and captured 16 rifles and large quantities of food and medicines. In another attack at the beginning of this month . in Yirgaalem area the SALF killed 37 enemy soldiers and wounded over 60 others.
