''Voice of Western Somali and Somali Abo Liberation Fronts'' radio's reports in Somali

The WSLF bitterly clashed with the Abyssinians . . .on 3rd March [as heard] in the Godi area; the Abyssinian black colonialists suffered heavy losses. The WSLF captured one officer. In another encounter, at (?Walabo), the Somali Abo killed 15 Abyssinian soldiers and wounded many others. The Somali Abo forces lost one martyr and nine others were wounded. (0930 gmt 6 Apr 81) In bitter clashes at (?Urba), 10 km from Meslo district in Bale region, on 23rd March .. . Somali Abo forces killed nine Abyssinian soldiers and wounded many others. The Somali Abo freedom fighters lost two martyrs. In another battle, at (?Addar Gurti) near Meslo town on 27th March, Abo freedom fighters killed 10 Abyssinians and wounded many others. The Somali Abo fighters lost three martyrs. (0930 gmt 8 Apr 81) On 3rd April, the Somali Abo clashed with the Abyssinian black colonialist troops at (?Arbo) in Moyale district. In the clashes, 16 Abyssinian soldiers were killed and many others wounded. Three Somali Abo soldiers were killed and one wounded. (0930 gmt 9 Apr 81)
