We, the Ogaden Online Editorial Board (OOEB) condemn in the strongest terms the illegal and inhumane treatment of an Ogaden citizen and an official of the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) now held as a prisoner by the Woyane regime in Addis Ababa.The prisoner, Mr. Abdinur Mohamed Soyan, was shown in a video released by a website that belongs to the Woyane regime and its Somali minions. In the video, the prisoner is parlayed to the camera to read statements in which he humiliates himself.
The Woyane regime is a signatory to the Geneva Convention. So, not only is the videotaping of a prisoner illegal under the Geneva convention, but article three of the convention makes it clear that “Outrages upon personal dignity, in particular, humiliating and degrading treatment” are “prohibited at any time and in any place whatsoever with respect to [prisoners of war].
