This ill will towards Ogaden Somali people has being going on for a while in Puntland. On different occasions, the Puntland Administration had put in harm's way civilians as ONLF members in violation of international law and customary laws among the Somali people. The Ogaden Somali people have a right to wage a legitimate struggle to attain their rights from the Ethiopian regime, which is marginalizing and committing war crimes against them. Such cowardly acts by the likes of the Puntland administration will not deter the will of the Ogaden Somalis to attain their self-determinations and basic Human Rights.
The Ogaden National Liberation Front and the Ogaden Somali people on those occasions had opted for restrain and dialogue in order to convince Puntland to act in a civilized manner and respect the right of the Ogaden people. Unfortunately, the Puntland Administration instead of mending its wayward ways, it further escalated its crimes by not only killing and torturing Ogaden civilians but publicly declaring its ill intentions towards the Ogaden Somalis.
Henceforth the Ogaden National Liberation Front will take all measures necessary to protect the lives and interests of the Ogaden Somali people while the Puntland Administration will be responsible for any dire consequences of its criminal acts.

I will tell are you a true story..... 3 old men were sitting and chatting, 1 of them was Hawiye, the other was Darood and last 1 was Isaaq. the Hawiye and the Darod old men were arguing over who is larger in numbers Darood or Hawiye.. the Hawiye old man said Hawiye is the larger clan and the Darood old man said " no, you are wrong the darood clan is larger than hawiye". They had this argument back and forth for a while and the Isaaq old man is sitting and watching.. finally the Isaaq old man could not take any more and had to interrupt.. he told the two hawiye and darood old men that they were arguing over the wrong questions. The Isaaq old man said it is not Darood or Hawiye. the questions should be who is the larger clan the Hawiye or the Ogaden...
Ogaden is everywhere from Garissa to Dhagahbur to the outskirts of Hargeisa, and at the same time we are the weakest clan in the Somali clan system. How comes that our boys are getting handed over to the enemy without any fear of the mighty Ogaden by some inferior clans like gadabursi, majerteen and isaaq..
It is because we have weak leadership that really if you think about them makes you doubt if they are really Ogadens. I call hear today on the chairman of the ONLF to resign immediately and pave the way for new more intelligent leader to take over the organisation and bring the Ogaden people together and find a new way of doing things. Mohamed Omar Osman should take responsibility for the killing of our brothers in puntland and resign..The ONLF had this policy of not interfering in Somalia. that needs to change now.. Meles Zenawi is deeply involved in Somalia to an extent where our boys arer getting handed over to him. The ONLF should immediately move troops to jubboyinka and chase Alshabab from there and setup a new regional ogaden government in jubbaland. that will give us a region of our own without any clan handing us over to the enemy. ONLF should form a partnership with Hisbul islam and start training and recruiting in jubaland.. Mr. Mohamed omar Osman has been trying to appease the west for a long time and west simply don't care... we need a new strategy.

First of all, i am very sorry what they did puntland administration and punltand citizens don't agree for them.
But, on the other hand, the new way for ONLF is dreaming, cause Jubbaland is not a place of Ogaden and its not a place of ONLF.. it is a place of Darod like, Harti and Marehan and Cise darod and awr table and leelkase and also absame. so don't tell the people a wrong message and always aware the situation of somalia.. If you want to change the strategy of ONLF you must change your organisation's name like Ogaden.. Western Somali live different kinds and types somalian citizen, its not only ogaden...

As puntilander who lives in Boosaaso here what tell you in this strory. there are many ogadeen people in puntiland some of them have huge business in boosaaso and galkacyo and they are not live any fear. they feel they live thier homeland. we don't have any problem ogadeen, but we are not accept ONLF make problem our country and people and we will not accept ONLF puting baase in puntiland. weather is ONLF or other somalis who ever try to destroy our country we will catch them and put on trail. puntiland govement not pass any ONLF to Ethopia. there was five guys the security caught two weeks ago. they are in BOsaaso jail and waiting for trail.

Absame is the father of Ogaden.Ogaden owns jubboyinka, say what you want to say.. awrtable, marehan, harti,,, give me a break.. this people you mentioned live in some parts of kismayo and jamame... they don't own the land.. marehan came from Gedo.. we the Ogadens tolerate everyone, we don't like to kill our fellow Somalis let alone handing them over to their enemies. We are busy fighting with Tigrey dictator, we are tolerant to an extent that we allowed Barre Hirale to rule kismaayo, we did not want to shed the blood of fellow Darood. Why it hurts the most to hear the news from Puntland is Majerteen and Ogaden are Kablalah and thus brothers.. As you mentioned harti do live in Jubbaland and they are a minority among us, we never bothered them or shed their blood. The Ogaden is by far the largest Somali clan, 2 million live in kenya's NFD region, 3 million live in Ogadenia, and 1.5 million in Jubbaland, and we have seen now that our brothers are turning on us. Thank you Puntland you have united us now and believe things will be different from on... release those boys you are holding, pay magdhaw for our brother you killed and stop transferring our brothers to the Tigrey enemy,, if you failed to do so we will declared a war on you and your people who live in jubbaland will pay the price. No more of this kablalah bullshit.
