Reports reaching the Ogaden Online service desk confirm an increasing trend of new extra judicial killings, severe forms of torture and lootings of civilian property by the Ethiopian (Woyane) militias throughout Ogaden.
In the latest incident of killings, torture and arrest, the (Ethiopian) Woyane militias are reported to have killed and arrested many Ogaden civilians between October 5th - October 19th, 2010 in various cities in Ogaden. So far the names below, not the complete list, were received from our reporters on the ground and individuals who requested anonymity, as they are not authorized to divulge such information to the public.
10/19/10 Dhanaan, Shabelle Province: Following people were arrested.

10/18/10 Qabridahar City, Woyane Soldiers arrested many civilians, among them are:

10/15/10 Dhagaxtuur, Jarar Province, Ethioiapn soldiers abducted dozen of civilians, among them were a young girl named Raxmo Axmed Baseey. No one knows where Ethiopin soldiers detianed those innocent civilians.
10/14/10 Cadaley village, Qorahay Province, Ethiopain soldiers arrested many civilians and transfered to Maracaato military prison, among them are:

Reports of civilian killings and disappearances follow renewed campaigns by the Ethiopian military to pressure civilians specially those who live in the countryside. It is reported that these military personnel shoot those they encounter in the countryside.
There is constant fighting between Ethiopian troops and ONLF forces in the Ogaden region. Human rights organizations accuse the Ethiopian soldiers of violating the human rights by harassing the people in the Ogaden region.
