Reports reaching our service desk from Babili town confirm the burning down of up to twenty houses of Gola Beero Village by a contingent of Ethiopian military and an associated militia on August 9th 2010. It is reported that all the meager resources owned by the local citizenry burned down or looted as well.
Ogaden Online reporter in the city of Babili reports that the displaced civilians from Gola Beera are now squatting outside the town with no access to shelter, food and drinking water.
In a related news that shows the renewed mass killings and arrest campaigns spearheaded by the Ethiopian military personnel, three young female were abducted from the Dhadhabo Village near Babili on August 9th, 2010 The names of the three abducted young girls are:
1. Sukayna Shariif Carab2. Sareedo Muxumed Aw-Xasan
3. Bishaaro Adan
Due to the ongoing Ethiopian military blockage on all of Ogaden, it is reported that there is widespread hunger and utter poverty in many parts of Ogaden.
