Our reporters throughout Ogaden continue to report extra judicial killing sprees and mass detentions carried out by the Ethiopian military throughout Ogaden. In almost every Ogaden city our reporters detail killings in broad daylight as well as mass detentions of Ogaden civilians.In one such killing, on July 12, 2010 the Ethiopian military killed three women in the village of Yaxoob, Nogob province.
The names of the deceased are:
1. Shukri Cabdi Xariir – Ethiopian army confiscated and taken her property after the killed her.
2. Hinda Ibrahim Qaasim
3. Xalimo Siyaad Muxumed
On the fourteen of July in the village of Ceelweyne which is part of Shabelle province, the Ethiopian military extra judicially killed One man. The name of the deceased man is Maxamud Muxumed Dacar. As if extra judicial killings alone were not bad enough, the Ethiopians barred anyone from burying the dead man. As a result the corpses of this dead man lay on display in the city center for more than a day.
On the seventeen of July in the town of Cadaley, Qorahay province the Ethiopian military rounded up many civilians whose whereabouts are unknown to this day. The Names of the civilians abducted by the Ethiopians include:
