Ogaden has gained status at the Unrepresented Nations & Peoples Organization (UNPO) based in the Hague in Netherlands. Ogaden is represented by the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) which gained formal membership on Feburary 6th 2010.
Senior officials at the ONLF indicated that the organization plans to play an active and constructive role at the UNPO in full partnership with other
nations.

It is one good news out of so many bad ones. The membership of UNPO will hopefully lead country, people and plight of Ogadenia to international community fora to present the noble cause of the forgotten and hidden Ogaden people.

this is good news for all ogaenia nation, to have membership with UNPO thats freedom of ogadenia and very proud of that and i believe that we ganna move forward and i beliave all interanational community they have good relationship with ogadenia they have great relitionship with united nation with european union and united states of america iam very proud of that we need to .keep support ONLF.

wow this is great news tothe wonderfull ppl of ogaden, i am glad for it is about time, well i am hopping this will lead to the recognition of ogadenia as an separate state, or confederation be it with Ethiopia , somalia as the ppl they may wish. I congratulate the ppl of Ogaden for this historic event.
