EU Hearing on Human Rights and Security in Ogaden

EU flag The hearing, whose topic is “Human Rights and Security Situation in Ogaden,” will be opened by Ms Ana Gomes MEP, who is chairing the event, and Mr. Marino Busdachin, General Secretary of UNPO. Mr. Abdullahi Mohamed, from African Rights Monitor, and Ms. Xasan Ruqiyo from the Ogaden Communities & Civil Society Association will be speaking on behalf of Ogaden.

There will also be excerpts from a film, Silent Cry, a grassroots documentary produced by British students, reporting the lives of Somali refugees from Ogaden. These stories were discovered accidentally when the students, visiting Nairobi on vacation, met Omar, a taxi driver who shared with them his personal tragic story. The students then went to the Ifo Refugee Camp, in Northern Kenya, where they interviewed several refugees, including victims of rape and torture.

Ogaden is a region in eastern Ethiopia with a majority population of Somalis. The Ethiopian government has waged a long-term war against the Ogaden, suppressing the region and its people. Years of neglect and war have left Ogaden in a state of turmoil, and human rights abuses by the Ethiopian government are commonplace. There is limited infrastructure, and due to Ethiopia’s corrupted federal structure, no political power on the part of the people of Ogaden to develop the area.

congratulations united Nation to look it ogaedenia situation, iwant conratulate all of you for this action i hope this is rght time for the human Right security i want thanks mr Busdanchin iwant thank mr Abdullahi mohamed Genaral sercretry and all other united nation leaders who see ogadenia situation ogadenia people were abuses under Ethiopia regime, and dictator mr melez zenawi thousands of ogadenia children are in Ethiopia jail they ages are like this 11 years old 12 years old 13 years old 14 years old 15 yeaers untill 25 and 30 years old and mothers fathers all those people are abuse in the jail they have been repted they have been kill inthe jail please all oogaedenia they were under abuses E thiopia regime we want this nuber one we need our freedom ,because ogadenia were took their independece by british nuber two we need to bring mr melez zenawi to the criminal court thank you all.

I want thank EU Human Right and Security their meeting to talking about ogadenia situation,the information we have thousands of ogenia children are in the Ethiopia jail most of them are very young girls,their ages are like 11years old 12 years old 13 years old 14years old untill 20 and more they have been rapted in side the jail after rape they have been kill,this is ogadenia their daily life evry day I believe mr melez zenawi he commted big crime I want ask United Nation bring to melez zenawi criminal court, and also I want ask EU Human Right Security to tell interanational comuniy Ethiopia to get out of ogadenia because it's illegal to stay onther independent country ,ogadenia they were independentce country by British 1954 then Ethiopia attack on ogadenia that day untill today ogadenia they want their freedom back again so please help ogadenia their freedom, again,ogadenia people they were tired about dictator after dictator I can't explains how much suffired they were have been thrue in past but this time is worest please go to visit Ethiopia and see how many young girls are in the ethiopia jail you can see on your own eyes, please do this this dictator he make seperate mother and her young duaghter, each one of them sleep different jail, I hope Human Right security they will be do seccssful job because they have big bower they can do for this dictator anything they want I believe mr melez zenawi he is Hitler what he is done millions Jewish women and children, didn't do nothing and he is doing samething he is criminal like Hitler please bring this dictator to justice,

They can help Ogaden by letting it free from that madman Meles Zenawi. He's never going to stop what he doing to the innocent somalians until the Somali population in Ogaden reaches ZERO. The UN says Eritrea is the bad guy buy financing the Ogaden army but its the opposite. They're financing them so they can beat the Ethiopians. Most Somalians and Eritreans hate Meles Zenawi becuase of the Ogaden War and the border war with Eritrea in 1998-2000 which leads 70,000 dead.
Even though i'am NOT from Ogaden (but as a CARING human being) I STILL BELIEVE THAT
OGADEN SHALL BE FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It just make me sad why the government of djbouti, somaliland, puntland , the TFG, and the northeast district of Kenya not doing anything about the genocide of their brothers and sisters( Its embarrassing that the ERITREANS are helping them and the somalian government(s) are too scared) . If they combine their army, navy, airforce and weapons. They can overcome that African version of Hitler, Meles Zenawi. THERES NOTHING TO BE AFRAID BECAUSE ALLAH, THE ALL MIGHTY WILL HELP HIS BELIEVERS
I'am not saying to have a bloody war but help OGADEN BE FREE OF MELES ZENAWI
