This picture shows severe form of torture used by Ethiopian soldiersOur reporters in Ogaden are confirming an increasing trend of new extra judicial killings, severe forms of torture and lootings of civilian property by the Ethiopian Military throughout Ogaden.

In the latest incident of torture and arrest, the (Ethiopian) Woyane militias are reported to have arrested and severely tortured many Ogaden civilians between February 1st -16th, 2010 in various cities in Ogaden. So far the names below, not the complete list, were received from our reporters on the ground and individuals who requested anonymity, as they are not authorized to divulge such information to the public:

Reports of civilian detentions and disappearances follow renewed campaigns by the Ethiopian military and its affiliated Liyu militia to pressure civilians specially those who live in the countryside. It is reported that these militias and military personnel shoot those they encounter in the countryside.

Sources that refused to have their names published intimated to our reporter in Qabridahar that the military and the militia were recently ordered to roundup any civilians suspected of having relatives, close or distant, in the ONLF army.

people of ogaden are suffering now but one day they will get their freedom it is just behind of struggle, @ that day every one claims he did suport but never mind that every single action is written to day is the day that the ogaden people needs the help of every one.

As the wiseman, Mr. Nelson Mandela, once said: there is no easy way to freedom. The hardship that we are going through is a necessary price we have to pay in order to achieve our goal. Call it short term pain for long term gain.
We need to support our leadership-ONLF- and through it our people (dead and alive) shall be avenged and the ultimate success will be realized. And that is what matters.

can we talk about what we want do our indepence, because we needed that who we are onlf they were did great job last 17 years, im vrey proud of them and also onlf leaders they did great job now they almost control most of ogadenia, and ibelieve that onlf they will bring ogadenia freedom you can see how are they succeed, and also ogadenia people they did great job to support ogadenai any time any where thats verey good with out ogadenia people, onlf they wont do anthing then and ibelieve ogadenia people they understand what did they missed in the past thats freedom, thats good thing im very proud of all ogadneia to understand that
