On 31 August 2009, Ogaden liberation forces mounted an ambush on colonial Ethiopian troops at a place called Dala Heley in Nogob province killing two soldiers and wounding four others.
On 1 September 2009, Ogaden liberation fighters and colonial Ethiopian troops clashed in Diksiley in Babile district. Four colonial Ethiopian soldiers were killed and two others were wounded in the battle.
On 2 September 2009, four colonial Ethiopian troops were killed and six others were wounded in a battle at Farakyaha in Dolo province. On the same date, Ogaden liberation forces carried out two surprise attacks against colonial Ethiopian troops in Hudur Eyle in Korahey province, killing two soldiers and wounded four others.
On 3 September 2009, four colonial Ethiopian soldiers were killed and eight others were wounded in Harad, Babile district.
On 4 September 2009, Ogaden liberation forces carried out a nocturnal attack on colonial Ethiopian military base in Denan. Massive losses were inflicted on colonial Ethiopian troops but details of their casualties were unavailable.
On 5 September 2009, Ogaden liberation fighters killed two colonial Ethiopian soldiers and wounded two others in a sneak attack in Shinile, Shebelle province.

It is a duty on every Somali to fight the colonial soldiers of ethiopia. We have seen the terrible reality of the Somali people where ever they may be. Hunger, genocide, mass exterminations, rape and incalculable pain and suffering has befallen on the Somali people where ever they are. The resilience of our people is second to none. Imagine 20 + years of no government and the rest colonized by either etiopia or Kenya and yet our people refuse to bend down for the brutality of etiopian and kenyan colonizers. Keep up the fight sons and daughters of Somalis whether you are in Ogaden, NFD, OR North and South Somalia. Take the fight to the amhaars, kill their soldiers and spies. Avenge for your raped sisters and martyed sons of Ogaden. Long Live ONLF--Long Live SOMALIS WHERE EVER YOU ARE.

THis is very good news indeed that the ogaden liberation front are caryin out these noble heavy attacks to destroy and kill the amhaari soldiers dat are brutally massacring and uprooting thousands of ogaden in everday life. if we continue to support our troops that are figting against the ethiopian oppression and bratility, I think the ogaden people will have a greater chance of receiving rocognition from only ethiopians but from da international communities who are blindly-resgarding the attrocities committin this regime.
