The Ogaden National Liberation Front sends its warmest congratulations to the people of Eritrea who waged an armed struggle and defeated one of the most vicious coloniser on Earth- Ethiopia. The liberation of Eritrea and the heavy sacrifices its people have paid is a shinning symbol and an inspiration for all oppressed people of the world. The victory of the Eritrean people attests to the fact that the desire for freedom and justice for the human spirit is indomitable and stronger than any might.During the long and arduous struggle of the Eritrean people, the different Ethiopian regimes committed genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity right in front of the international community as is happening today in the Ogaden but those international and regional institutions who were supposed to protect humanity against such crimes after the horrors of World War II never lifted a finger. Instead of facing up to dictatorial and criminal regimes such institutions are usually co-opted into facilitating the subjugation and destructions of the weak and vulnerable minorities.
The Ogaden National Liberation Front holds the highest regard for the people, government and President of Eritrea and wishes them peace and prosperity.

Eritreans were killing Ogadenis when the Tigrey government was weak since they controlled Ethiopia. As of today they just want us to be a nuisance to Ethiopia while our region is totally devastated. It's in their interest for our cause not to succeed since we wont be a tool anymore. Shame on ONLF leaders who are acting more and more like Daher Aweys
