More than 44 Ethiopian soldiers killed in Ogaden

Ogaden Online and Radio Freedom front-line war correspondent has reported that in recent weeks, ONLF [Ogaden National Liberation Front] have carried out fierce attacks against Ethiopian forces and its associated militia in many parts of the Ogaden, killing large numerous soldiers and capturing an assortment of military equipment. The fighting occurred, among other places, in Qorahey, Dolo, Nogob, Jijiga, and Jerar provinces.

On 12 January, Six Ethiopian soldiers were killed at a place called Ta’ada, near Galaalshe.

On 11 January, ONLF fighters attacked Ethiopian military bases in Odala, near Qabridahar, killing twenty five soldiers and wounding 14 others. Military warehouses were also destroyed in Odala village.

On 7 January, ONLF fighters carried out a series of coordinated raids against Ethiopian forces in place called Food case, near Dhuxun and Caado city, Dollo provincey, killing total of 13 soldiers and wounding thirteen others.

Latest reports from the Ogaden say that similar attacks by ONLF freedom fighters, which usually occur when  Ethiopian soldiers venture into rural localities and villages to massacre civilians, are continuing
