ONLF Military Communique
The Ethiopia Army started conducting its seasonal harassment and subjugation campaign against the civilian people in Ogaden. Troops from Wardheer, Qabri-dehar and Dhegahbur regions started manoeuvring and harassing civilians in towns and villages around those areas.
Ethiopian troops from the garrisons of Wardheer, Qorile and Danod converged near the twon of Caado and started conducting punitive campaign against the rural communities in the Area, killing more than 15 civilians, raping scores of women and creating mass terror. Ogaden National Liberation Army from the Heegan command engaged the marauding Ethiopian troops on the 17 of January 2012, killing 50 Ethiopian soldiers and wounding around 70. Furthermore, the Liberation Army captured ammunition, communication equipment, and Armaments. 5 BKM heavy machine guns and 40 small arms fell into the hands of the liberation army.
In another parallel thrust by the Ethiopian Army on 17th of January, The Ogaden National liberation Army engaged Ethiopian troops near Degahbur and Kebri-dehar destroying four Military transport vehicles and stopping Ethiopian army attempt to commit mass atrocities to civilians in villages near the area. In those engagements, sixty Ethiopian troops were reported dead by the ONLF Army command. Losses from the liberation Army were minimal.
Similar operations are expected from the Ethiopian Army, which will increase the levels of military engagements between ONLA and the Ethiopian occupation troops in the coming months.

Raw meat eating what? LOL!
Why do ONLF supporters pretend like there are a bunch of Amhara/Tigray/Oromos chasing Somalis in Ogaden - this is FAR from the truth! The vast majority of Ethiopian soldiers in Ogaden are ethnic Somalis that supports the regional government in Somali region.
This is a propaganda site (that fabricates these news to get a steady income from the diaspora for the rebels) and I don't expect any truth from it, but deep down, everyone knows that I'm right. The issue in Ogaden is not about Somalis vs the Rest, it's about regional politics.

First and foremost:
Everybody knows this "report" is just a pile of hogwash hocus pocus lies fabricated from the imaginations of an angry ONLF supporter in washington, fat lazy bigmac eating diaspora. They are completely disconnected with the Ethiopians living in Kilil 5. This site is hilarious. They claimed they killed 3000 soldiers last year! Hahaha also they claimed they took a military base and killed 500 soldiers last month.
If this was true then Ethiopia would not ever consider sending troops to Abyei or Somalia. The reason we send them abroad is because there is no threat at home. None whatsoever. Next week theyll claim they killed 100,000 soldiers.
Pathetic. The ONLF havent launched an attack in 2 years. They are divided and destroyed. They are hiding in Eritrea.

Gone are the days you had injera in your hotels and red raw meat in your butchers!! Now it is only pasta and pasta and nothing else!! You call yourself Waardhar? You cannot even spell the name. That shows your have nothing to do with Ogaden. You also call Ogaden (Kilil5) another indication of ignorance. You blame others coz they were too lazy to go to school yet you have all the signs of Ignorance, perhaps you should consider learning the history and culture of your region before actually saying something about it.
