Reports reaching the Ogaden Online service desk confirm the extrajudicial killing of a respected traditional leader named Xayraan Dhicis Ibraahin in the village of Haarcade, Qorahay province by the Woyane (Ethiopian) military on Saturday October 23, 2011
It is reported that Xayraan Dhicis was mercilessly beaten by Ethiopian soldiers before they executed him. Also, report add that the victim was in jail more than a year. Previously he was held the famous Jail Ogaden in Jigjiga, before he was transferred to Haarcade Military prison.
