More than 150 Meles Zenawi's Special forces dead in Ogaden

Initial reports received from the Ogaden National Army (ONLA ) central command which were corroborated by reliable local, civilian eyewitnesses confirm the success of the ONLA forces in inflicting heavy losses to the Woyane (Ethiopian Army) militias in and around the road between Shilaabo and Haarcad and famous Bulaale Water Wells.

Reports provided by ONLA central command indicate the operations undertaken by the Duufaan and Gorgor units On 12 October, using remote control bomb against Ethiopian Military convoys in between Shilabo and Haardcad and Bulaalo Wells resulted heavy Ethiopian losses.

 Full details of the battles could not be obtained, but preliminary information indicated that Ethiopian soldiers suffered heavy casualties including 3 Ural and its all occupant. The Ural trucks were carrying more than 150 Meles Zenawi’s Special Forces.

Our reporters in Qabridahare and Degahbur confirmed that many Woyane (Ethiopian Army) dead and wounded have been brought to the military hospitals.

Local people reported that the Special Forces were planning to set up a temporary base camp in Haarcad village and Bulaale Water Wells. The Chinese Oil company is trying to setup camps in those areas, according from local people.
