Ogaden online reporter in the Nogob province reported the grisly discovery of the bodies of 3 women in the tributary of the city of Xamaro. They showed signs of rape and extreme torture prior to being strangulated to death using metal rods. When the bodies were found the metal rods were still connected to their necks. These three dead bodies were last seen in the custody of the Wayone (Ethiopian army) stationed in the city of Xamaro.
The names of the deceased are:
1. Sabaad Muxumed Cade
2. Sawda Cabdi Garaad
3. Faadumo (We didn't get her full name)
This young girl who still had the rope in her neck is reported to have been found by the city dwellers that discovered the bodies of the three victims. The name of the surviving young girl is said to be Maadh Macalin Muxumed Nuur.
Reports of civilian killings and disappearances follow renewed campaigns by the Ethiopian military to pressure civilians specially those who live in the countryside
There is constant fighting between Ethiopian troops and ONLF forces in the Ogaden region. Human rights organizations accuse the Ethiopian soldiers of violating the human rights by harassing the people in the Ogaden region
