Reports reaching the Ogaden Online service desk from the Jeexdin area, near Shilabo town confirm a rape spree that was spearheaded by the Ethiopian Military and its associated militias deployed in the area.
Our local reporters have confirmed one such incident where Ethiopian soldiers gang raped three young girls. This gruesome incident took place on March 21, 2011.
The names of young girls are as follows;
- Ardo Yuusuf Daahir
- Nimco Faarax Raabi
- Nafiis Maxamed Sulub
It is reported that the health of the raped girls are deteriorating since they have almost bled to death due to the injuries caused by the gang rape.
These gang rape incidents, although not new, appear coordinated. They also are on the increase. Ethiopian Military stationed in the east of Iimey, part of the Shabele province, and Falfal, Dhagahbur province engaged in a similar gang rape incident on February 06th, and 13, 2010. Locals attribute to the increased gang rape incidents as the ‘only’ way the Woyane militias could retaliate against the recent heavy military losses they have sustained in the hands of the Ogaden National Liberation Army (ONLA).

the ONLF should be blamed every crime that takes place in somali galbeen, they have given the ethiopians the excuse to rape, killed & displaced the civilians. ONLF has failed to gain the support it needs amongst the non-ogadeni somali clans. clearly the ethiopians agenda is to attack & kill ogaden tribes. after 20 years ONLF havent liberated one city. ONLF should not fight a proxy war for eritrean, ONLF should be so much smarter, since they will never be able to defeat the tigray regime, instead work with them TPLF, since tigrays have hatred for amharas, Play the card rite amhara v tigray.
