Five-year-old boy struck and killed by Ethiopian Military Vehicle

On Saturday, Decmber 17, a 5-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a Ethiopian military vehicle in Higlaley Village, near Degahbour.This gruesome early morning tragedy happened when a speeding Ethiopian military vehicle knocked the little boy down at front of his home while playing with his older brother.

According to local people, the victim was the nephew of Makeyte Sheikh Ahmed Oogle, a well known poet in Ogaden who died last year.

An eyewitness told Ogaden Online reporter that the vehicle was speeding when the incident occurred.

Shortly after the accident, a huge angry crowd gathered at the scene of the tragedy, but Ethiopian soldiers quickly cordoned the area and arrested many people.

In Ogaden region, Ethiopian sodiers are the judge and the jury and no one questions their atrocities againist civilian population. Human rights organizations accuse the Ethiopian soldiers of violating the human rights by harassing the people in the Ogaden region.

"I should also note it might not be the Supreme Court's fault; it may, instead, have been professional negligence by our tax-dollar-funded attorney, Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem, because he failed to point out the "standing" problem to the Court." It seems like this is always the way, or at least most of the time anyway poker sites
