The Ethiopian former minister for foreign affairs, Seyoum Mesfin, who is not on the new government team, is still refusing to accept the post to head his country's delegation to the United Nations in New York offered him by Prime Minister Meles Zenawi. According to our sources, Seyoum Mesfin is using health grounds to justify his refusal, as he suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure.
