First of all Allah u naxariisto the young man that died. With that being said, ONLF needs to come up with a political agenda that doesn’t include continuing arms struggle with Ethiopia or sign unconditional peace deal with the Federal government asap.

Ethiopia is a large country with multiple ethnics and for the first time in history it has a government which recognizes all the different ethnics in the country including the Somalis as an important entities that can govern themselves. It also receives tremendous support from the U.S, E.U, China, and the Gulf Countries.

Also Somalis living throughout East Africa including those supposedly being colonized by the Tigrays are eager to be friends with TPLF and even die for them. I mean just think about how the TFG, Somaliland, Puntland, and Liyuu Police are detaining, torturing, and killing fellow Somalis simply to get appraisal from Ethiopia.


ONFL on the other hand is a weak, divide, rebel movement that is supported by one tribe out of the 52 Somali tribes that inhabit the Somali region of Ethiopia. If they don’t want to participate Ethiopia’s political process, then they should relocate to Jubooyinka or Bakool and work with their brothers there in forming regional administration.
