Ethiopian Dictator Meles Zenawi has been invited to attend the G20 summit to be held in Toronto next month. The summit will be held from June 26-27. The G20 meeting will follow a June 25-26 summit of the Group of Eight leading industrialized countries to be held in Muskoka, Ontario, north of Toronto. The meeting will be after the Ethobian 'bogus' election.
Human rights organizations accuse the Ethiopian soldiers of violating the human rights by harassing the people in the Ogaden region and many parts of Ethiopia.

This is a good chance for Canada gov that to ask Melese,Zenewi to release Bashir Makhtal.Canada,in this opportunity they should pressure Melese for the Bashir case and if that Melse wouldn't release their fellow Canadian citizen,Bashir Makhtal,and bring home with him,then Canada has the right to revoke his visa.

Prime Minister Meles is a great man, except those who don't understand what is meant by human rights and democracy will not dare to accuse this excellent leader, a capable and knowledgeable person. The truth is.
In Ethiopia the government makes laws which it violates routinely when it stands on its way and applies it on its political opponents when it helps it quash dissent. The violation of the law and basic rights is done with full impunity. Often it looks like that they do it to prove to the rest of us that, not only that they are above the law, but that they are the law.
The use of government resources, money, vehicles and all other government property for personal and EPRDF activity is as normal as breathing air. They ruthlessly rampage on the poor country as if it is their mother’s kitchen.
Try finding employment in government without EPRDF membership these days. You can even be as genius as Einstein, you will not be considered if you don’t hold the EPRDF membership card. People in Ethiopia call it “woyin Lesira” and they take it when they are desperate. It has almost become mandatory now, and Meles Zenawi’s government doesn’t even make a secret of it.
Membership in EPRDF is now a precondition to get opportunity to go to a government graduate school. You can be an A+ student and may not apply if you are not a member of the EPRDF. You can forget thinking about it altogether if you are a member of an opposition political party. Many people are forced to join the EPRDF outside of their wish just to survive. Even peasant farmers have to have the card to buy fertilizer or receive foreign donated food aid in time of need. Fraud and abuse by government authorities are quite common in Ethiopia that you think it is normal and legal.

The use of government resources, money, vehicles and all other government property for personal and EPRDF activity is as normal as breathing air. They ruthlessly rampage on the poor country as if it is their mother’s kitchen.
Try finding employment in government without EPRDF membership these days. You can even be as genius as Einstein, you will not be considered if you don’t hold the EPRDF membership card. People in Ethiopia call it “woyin Lesira” and they take it when they are desperate. It has almost become mandatory now, and Meles Zenawi’s government doesn’t even make a secret of it.
Membership in EPRDF is now a precondition to get opportunity to go to a government graduate school. You can be an A+ student and may not apply if you are not a member of the EPRDF. You can forget thinking about it altogether if you are a member of an opposition political party. Many people are forced to join the EPRDF outside of their wish just to survive. Even peasant farmers have to have the card to buy fertilizer or receive foreign donated food aid in time of need. Fraud and abuse by government authorities are quite common in Ethiopia that you think it is normal and legal.

Some people, I believed they were not Ethiopian who are bashing among us. They always never think for better Ethiopia or Somalia. They always bridge braker Eritrean. Why we can't talk the real difereces among us, instead insulting each other. Some how in some area insulting is easy, but is shame full.
