I think Riz, you are pointing out only on the negative comments that has been given by the people who were participating. You have to be fair to give the share for both. Ethiopian somalians are totally Ethiopians except for those outsiders who believe on the break up of our commitment to be Ethiopians. The Genocide is mostly practiced by Islamic radicals from Somalia not by Ethiopian government. We are living peacefully, our children are learning. We are on the better situation than ever. The only problem we are facing is the intruders who come from neighboring countries to be responsible for our suffering. I hope they will take care of their own problems then give us peace and give us a chance to exercise our right as Ethiopians.

who ever represent the ogaden people are the un educated people, short minded and self intrest. i dont understand why always two sub tribes of ogaden fight the owner ship of the ONLF. does it mean that only 2 sub tribes can lead freedom while they fighting each other all the time. most of the ogaden region we know their situation but why the ONLF killing the inocents ogaden people in the name of freedom. for example if ogaden where given freedom i dont think they can govern themself because of diffrence between their own tribes. see how kenya is peaceful, ogaden tribes sign agreement with the goverment and see how there well educated. we knw that if today those sub tribes living ogaden region in ethiopia live in kenya, they will not have the peace they have today. thank God those sub tribes in ogaden are not in kenya

I percieve your poor analysis in two aspects and have for you two answers linked to whether you are an Ogaden by birth or a non Ogaden i mean from any other somali clan. If you are an Ogaden by birth {of which i doubt unless you mentally retarded}then i would advice you to learn more about your origin land and what is currently happening in Ogadenia. Its seems you are arrogant of the facts on the ground and what the freedom fighters are doing to free your brothers, cousins, sister and so on. Note that the Tigrees have only one ear, that is shooting them dead on the forhead! and this is to be done by ONLF freedom fighers but not an illeterate allien like you. If you are from any other Somali clan then i think regardless from whether you are from Punland{i call them the ass lickers of Melezes}, Somaliland{Issackland} or from South-Central regions i tell the only hope for Greater Somalia is those ONLF Freedom fighers to supported so that the problem of Somalia is resolved or else Tigrees will continue dividing among ourselves rulling Majerteenia, Issackland etc as its today. I believe the only for Somalia lies in the land of those freedom fighters i mentioned.

Ignorance is what I see from your comment. ONLF is neither tribal nor killer of its own people.

What you need to understand is that no liberation front ever lasts long if it doesn't enjoy the support of its people. The people are the providers of the fighters, they provide the financial means to oil the engine of the struggle, they take care of the wounded, and more importantly are prepared to bear the burden of the occupiers wrath such imprisonment, torture, property destruction and confiscation, trade blockage, and so forth. In light of the above, had it not been the support of the people ONLF would have not 16 years of armed struggle!. This is a concrete proof that it enjoys the support of its people and therefore disproves your false claim of both ONLF division along clan lines aaaas well as killing its own people.

Horseed, I don't believe you are making your claims out of ignorance but are one of those weak people who sold their soul to TPLF and are not ashamed to pimp to them. This of course is not unique to Ogadenia or Somalia. It is common to where ever there is struggle as insicur and faint-hearted individuals opt for working the other side i.e traitors. Djibouti shouldn’t be a hiding place for the renowned criminals

I think the struggle should include within our backyard, what I mean by that is our brother from North, East and South should not be overlooked. Most of the previous rulers including the current ones did a lot back-stubbing by complying extraordinary rendition. What we need is to correct our mistakes and ask the international community to prosecute these alleged criminals through the International Criminal Court.

The horn of African region is full of many heinous crimes that have been committed in the name of the national security everywhere you look at it, with conjunction of the US so-called War-On-Terror, but what would be the result if the state itself isn’t internationally recognized like self-declared Somaliland, it is a new frontier unlike we have seen before.

Former president of the self-declared Somaliland Dahir Rayale Kahin use to work for the last known Somali government as secret service agent for NSS, he might have committed crimes as part of that administration just by obeying the order of his superior. Well it’s hard to prosecute for any crime that he might have committed for obvious reason.

Mr. Kahin as president of self-declared Somaliland issued and collaborated with Ethiopia an extraordinary rendition order to roundup Somali refugees from Ogaden region and sold them to Ethiopia as part of war-on-terror program. It has been normal practice and source of misuse funding for both Puntland, and self-declared Somaliland rulers to engage in this kind of criminal activity.

Mr. Kahin is set to retire in Djibouti , he has a couple of properties in Djibouti and elsewhere in western Europe, he also stashed considerable amount of money in Dubai, UAE. Definitely the bulk of the money is from the so-called war-on-terror program, in other the program to continue functioning there has to be a collateral damages and human suffering.

Mr. Kahin was the President of the self-declared Somaliland, technically he was ruling jurisdiction without international recognition, his status was unclear under International law. Mr. Kahin in front of the International Criminal Court he neither can claims that he was defending the national interest of self-declared Somaliland, nor his jurisdiction has an extradition treaty with Ethiopia or any other legitimate state in the region after all no state recognized the self-declared Somaliland except the parallel government of Djibouti led by Odette De Chihuahua the first lady of Djibouti.

If Mr. Kahin get away with crimes that has committed during Siyad Barreh regime, can he get away with atrocity that he committed while he was the vice president and the president of self-declared Somaliland?, what happened to the relative of Kahin’s victims? They have the right to sue Mr. Kahin through International Criminal Court (ICC), he can’t hide in Djibouti, the Djiboutian government is the signatory of the ICC and it has obligated to extradite Mr. Kahin in case the ICC issue arrest-warrant. the same thing should have been happening to the others.

Any future legal action could be a good lesson for any self-cleared ruler; perhaps it could serve as a deterrent tool for any potential western collaborators to commit proxy crimes against humanity.
