Multiple sources reported that this officer was the sole survivor of the recent ONLA commando attack in the area. It is also reported that upon him reaching the town of Fiiq, he was summoned to a Woyane militia officers’ meeting. Sources who were present in the meeting indicated that about 60 officers took part in the meeting. In the meeting, colonel Ajara was accused of being a coward which, according to two independent sources, infuriated colonel Ajara. He is said to have known the fate of an officer accused of cowardice.
Upon listening attentively to the accusations, it is reported that colonel Ajara took out a hand grenade and threw it in the direction of the senior officers who were leading the meeting. It is reported that 9 officers died on the spot, while up to 38 officers are said to have been gravely injured. It is also reported that colonel Ajara committed suicide in the meeting hall.

Yes time may seem right but what happens when they pull the rag under you? Do you know of any insurgency that really succeeded in Africa. Understandable cause but screwed up strategy and tactic. Time will tell.

Yes, we know insugents who succeeded. All of Africa was liberated by successful insurgents. No European colonial power ever left Africa on their own- and why would they?.
Africa did not invite them in the first place and they have been kicked out of Africa against their will with bitterness and humiliation, I may add.
And for your information, ONLf will no doubt succeed in kicking TPLF out of Ogadenia just as they themselves did to the DERG regime. Just stay tuned and wait to to witness it.
Once people are fed up of their occupiers and decide to fight back, the rest is a matter of time. ONLF has been engaged in armed struggle against TPLF for the last 16 years and TPLF spared no arsenal and trick available to them yet failed miserably to make any headway in getting rid of ONLF. What depresses them most though is that they know full well that ONLF has passed the crucial threshold necessary for Fronts to succeed and is beating the same road that brought them (TPLF) to power. Being a Front itself, TPLF now knows more than anybody else that ONLF is unstoppable.
