SEATTLE - A meeting at Seattle Center prompted a vocal protest outside the Exhibition Hall on Sunday.
Dozens of local Ethiopians protested outside an event called "The Five-Year Growth and Transformation Plan in Ethiopia."
Apparently, Ethiopian officials are presenting that plan to local Ethiopians. The demonstrators said thousands of people have died under Ethiopia's prime minister.
"These people are worse than Mubarak, Gadhafi and any genocider in the history of humanity and they were supported by the United States government and they're allowed to carry this kind of forum when they'd been killing kids, arresting people and committing genocide almost on daily and frequent basis," said Shakespear Feyissa, Ethiopians In Seattle For Justice
One woman held up a sign showing photos of university professors who she says have been imprisoned by Ethiopia's government.
