Thousands including the People of Ogaden and other Ethiopian ethnic groups are planning a massive joint demonstration in Los Angeles’ Convention Center on Sunday April 10, 2011 against Meles and his emissaries who are committing daily atrocities against the Somalis in the Ogaden as well as other ethnic groups across Ethiopia.
This issue has been the topic throughout the meeting places in the San Diego Somali community. When we asked a group of mothers of what they think regarding the protest and the arrival of Meles’ delegates? One of the mothers was quick to point out that “this is one of the best opportunities to tell the world about these criminals and that it is important their voices be heard” she said in Somali “Ciroole iyo Caruurta xataa ka tagi mayno” indeed she plans to travel to Los Angeles and take her children with her as she has done previously.
The Ogaden American Community of San Diego will be heading a convoy to Los Angeles on Sunday, and are asking you to join them and please show your support and be a voice for the voiceless.
