E-mail Print PDF
Reports reaching the Ogaden Online News Desk confirm the burning down of the town of Budle, Shabelle province by the Woyane army. Eyewitnesses indicate that the Woyane militias first looted all valuables in the town. Prior to torching the town, the marauding Woyane militias also took two young girls with them. We couldn't confirm the names of the two young girls.

It is reported that the Woyane militias who torched Budle were fleeing the area after having been soundly defeated by the Ogaden National Liberation Army (ONLA).

The Ogadeni people and the beloved ONLA have, in the last 16 years of armed struggle, learned that all TPLF is good is carrying collective punishment against our civilians.
TPLF have long learned that ONLA is by no means an easy pushover. They learned that in the hard way and in the battlefields. In the early 1990s, TPLF came armed with the inflated believe that they defeated the DERG regime and therefore have the bragging right of invincibilty. That, of course, was before they met our gallants ONLA fighters in the Ogadeni battlefields. Now, as everybody in Ogaden knows, TPLF army will avoid meeting with ONLA as far as possible.

This heinous and barbaric act of the Woyane,TPLF burning the town of Budle in the Ogaden doesn't surprise me at all. I would blame the US and European Union which are giving the TPLF Regime 1 billion dollars and Euro each repsectively as 'AID'. The aid is an incentive to destroy villages.
