Abdi Mohamud Omar and his war crimes associates will be holding a conference at Hilton Hotel in downtown Minneapolis on this Sunday, April 10th.
Mr. Omar is a former security head officer (Janjaweed-like militia leader) and the current Ogaden Regional State president. Under his tutelage and self-proclaimed presidency, many innocent Somalis in Ogaden region were jailed, raped, maimed, killed, disappeared, and displaced. His militia systematically uprooted many innocent civilians by burning down their villages and townships, poisoning their source of water and livestock, torching their farms or systematically destroying their means of sustenance so to force the people to flee the region.
Mr. Omar is an infamously known human right abuser and committed heinous crimes against Somali people in Ogaden. He violated and infringed upon all human rights which are set forth in international human rights documents. These violations are documented by all major human right organizations and are on record.
Its affront to all of us peace loving citizens and with conscious heart to let this criminal man sleep in peace right here in Minneapolis while he denied others peace and took away their precious lives and denied them the right to live.
Therefore, Hilton Hotel should not be associating itself with this man and his terrible human rights record for that will sure have an effect on its business repetition and image thereafter. Accommodating Mr. Omar and his Ethiopian Embassy handlers will be a terrible business decision and will have dire repercussions for you organization. As concerned citizens, we are calling upon Hilton Hotel to cancel and deny services to Mr. Omar and his Ethiopian handlers given their atrocious human right record.
A call to action: Please call Hilton Hotel and its management and ask them to cancel and deny service to this man and his war crimes associates. Ask Hilton to stand for justice and stand with the PEOPLE

One is always on a strange road, watching strange scenery and listening to strange music. Then one day, you will find that the things you try hard to forget are already gone.
