Adebar Debate Society is organizing an event on the 15th of November 2011, At the
University of Toronto.
While Adebar Debate Society is presenting a position paper entitled
“Inequity of Advocac voices against Human Rights violations and Torture: The case of
Ethiopia,”
Tthe main speaker for the event is Mohamed Hassan. He
will be speaking on the topic, “The Role Western Selective Morals and
Chinese Economic indifference Plays in the Continued Genocide in Ethiopia”
Mohamed Hassan’s research interest is on “Ogaden issues and ‘the
multi-ethnic fabric of Ethiopia’
He is an Information Security Professional by trade. He holds a Bsc in Computer
Science from Brock University and an Msc in Information Assurance from
Norwich University in Vermont, USA. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Phoenix.
He is also a researcher and one of the founding members of the Canadian Center for
Ogaden Research and Advocacy (CANCORA), a not for profit research and
advocacy organization.”
