Trucks Impounded in Wardheer |

2006 Ogaden Online and Radio Xoriyo
reporters in Doolo province report the
detention of up to eight civilian transport
vehicles most of which were transporting
herds of goats within the Wardheer city
precincts.
 These
trucks transported the goats from Qabri
Dahar, Dhagah Bur, and Wardheer. The herds
were destined for Puntland, Somalia.
Reports add that the detention of these cars
was ordered by the Ethiopian militias
deployed in and around Wardheer city. It has
not yet been explained why all civilian
transport vehicles have been detained or
impounded throughout Ogaden.
It was only last week that the Ethiopian
military impounded all transport vehicles in
the city of Qabri Dahar. Most of the trucks
impounded are kept in the main military
garrisons in the respective cities.
